Vulpes Racing Team

In 2008, students from NYCU founded the Vulpes Racing Team to turn their passion for cars into a student-built formula program.

We focus on Formula Student development with the pillars of theory, design, and hands-on practice—learning from industry visits and mentors, and showcasing at events like Taipei AMPA and COMPUTEX to grow racing culture.

In 2020 we built the VR5 combustion car and earned first prize at the 2021 Taiwan Formula Student debut, then advanced our EV know-how with the VR6.

The VR7.5 competed in FSAE Japan 2025 (EV) and finished; now we are building the next-gen VR8 for 2026 competitions at home and abroad.
